Check out the latest in a long line of flash games you just can’t stop playing! In this one, you draw shapes in an old-school mspaint-style interface, and you use the shapes which acquire gravity and momentum, and use them to collect flags. Screw you, Productivity! Link

“A dolphin has come to the rescue of two whales which had become stranded on a beach in New Zealand.
Conservation officer Malcolm Smith told the BBC that he and a group of other people had tried in vain for an hour and a half to get the whales to sea.
The pygmy sperm whales had repeatedly beached, and both they and the humans were tired and set to give up, he said.
But then the dolphin appeared, communicated with the whales, and led them to safety.
The bottlenose dolphin, called Moko by local residents, is well known for playing with swimmers off Mahia beach on the east coast of the North Island.”

On August 28th, between 5:52 am and 7:22 am EST, there will be a full lunar ecipse, optimally visible from right here in Oconee River City. As an added bonus, the moon will apparently be glowing red for most of those 90 minutes (except for the eclipse part of the eclipse). Sounds like a sight not to be missed. I, for one, plan to sincerely intend not to miss it. Link and More Link.

All 5,848 of them! Attached to just over 1,600 separate blog posts. And all it took was translating from XML to text to Excel to CSV, into a Prolog routine to join them up (mostly) with the appropriate blog posts, then back to excel, then CSV, back to text, then into MySQL.
Thanks again, BackBlog, for using a completely different indexing system than the blogs of your clients.
Anyway, all of our myriad and epic conversations are again there for viewing. A few may be attached to the wrong posts, so just sound off if you see any such.
